21st Century Teachers International Conference 2019

Dear Educators,

Recent technological advances have affected many areas of our lives: the way we
communicate, collaborate, learn, and, of course, teach.
Along with that, those
advances necessitated an expansion of our vocabulary, producing definitions such
as digital natives, digital immigrants, Global Citizens,  and, the theme of this
Conference -- "21st-century teacher."

The illiterates of 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those
who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn, hence teachers of the 21st century would
not be mere teachers but forward-looking educators who are aware of the ever-
changing paradigm in technology and are in tune with what the future it may bring
to education.

It is on this premise that Cs First Lagos is organizing  a training session for
teachers in February 2019.

Themed "The 21st Century Teacher", this training will discuss the changing
education paradigm and world class knowledge that will transform educators into
change agents that will deliver turn-key innovations in their classrooms and the
education sector.

This conference will be bothered on answering questions being asked by educators.

At this conference speakers from Microsoft Education Community will be
training teachers on different technologies available to them and how they can
apply this technology in the classroom. Teachers will also be receiving certifications
after the training.

The training will enlightening teachers and school owner on the need to introduce
technology in the classroom, the need for teachers to be IT Compliant, technology
that can help and improve teaching skills that will have impact on the student and
the need to encourage collaboration among student as a tool to bring out their
creativity.

Also at the training, CS First Lagos and Edu - Tech Nigeria - forums targeted
towards promoting technology and Education will be launched.

The training is championed by Mr. Akpan Emmanuel a Certified Microsoft
innovative Educator and will see guest speaker like Albin Wallace who is the
Director of Digital Learning at Bedford School and a Fellow of the RSA and
the British Computer Society.
