Unemployment been a global challenge means millions of job-seekers around the world are chasing fewer job openings. It is very easy for your CV to get lost among thousands of CVs online, hence job-seekers are coming up with innovative ways to make their CVs stand out.
I have read about CVs displayed on placards, billboards and even worn as a t-shirt.
Recently, Pitambar Dayala a 4th year student studying Biomedical/Medical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology posted a video of himself on YouTube “rapping” his CV as a song at a career fair.
The performance wowed the recruiters with one saying; “That was probably the most interesting delivery i have seen in my entire HR career”. The video has had over 45,743 views and caused quite a buzz on social media with the hashtag #FindPitAJob
According to pit’s LinkedIn page, he will be graduating in May 2016 and wants a job so he can be free (from his student loan i presume).
